A range of engines are available together with choice of gearbox. On our 'Charnwood Edge' range of boat we fit the Canaline 38hp with hydraulic gearbox. Particularly if planning frequent use on rivers the Canaline 42 could be considered. We also fit the Beta Greenline range of engine.

Enquiries for Hybrid installations are increasing, although cost is often a prohibitive factor but please feel free to discuss your requirements / choice.

If a bow thruster is required we fit the Vetus 12volt 75Kgf as standard. Size could be reduced to the 55Kgf if required.

Batteries normally consist of a single engine start, two bow thruster and four domestic batteries. As standard we fit open or sealed lead acid but can upgrade to other battery types, typically AGM, Gel or Lithium LiFePO4.

Engine start battery and via split charge relay, bow thruster batteries, are charged from the engine start alternator. Domestic batteries by the engine domestic alternator, mains 230volt charger within the inverter and solar power.

Is supplied by inverter, by either inverting 12volt from batteries or directly when connected with a shoreline connection.

Generator can be mounted on the engine, or a separate generator could be used.

Gas locker(s) typically in rear deck lockers, suppling gas hob and oven/grill.

As standard we fit 4.3kW Eberspacher Hydronic 4 diesel boiler, supplying radiators through the cabin space.

The boiler could be changed for Webasto or Hurricane, if required.

Radiators: with current trends these are finished typically in Graphite, but style and colour are your choice.

Free standing solid fuel or multi fuel stove are often chosen in the Lounge but could easily be changed for a diesel stove. You may prefer not to have a stove at all and use this space for other purposes.

Oak is typically the main theme, with painted cabin top and upper cabin sides. Ash, being lighter, is sometimes used.

Fittings are often chrome, black or slate.

Window coverings chosen are mainly curtain or roller blind with a wide choice of fabric.

Floor coverings can be carpet, wood or vinyl, or as suits your needs.

Worktop, as standard, is solid strip oak, other timbers could be used. Acrylic work top with moulded or placed splash back could be chosen and could include a moulded sink.

Galley cupboards can include high level storage and are available in a choice of doors. Galley design is your choice and units can be standard prebuilt or built to order in wood.

Fridge and washing machine are standard but can be changed to suit your needs, and a freezer could be added.

As standard, the fridge is 230volt but can be changed to 12volt as part of your choice. Various internal options are available.

'L' shaped or pullman dinette. Both convert to a double bed. A wide choice of fabric covering is available.

Largely open plan with free-standing furniture, but fixed seating is an option with a Charnwood Choice.

TV cabinet with WiFi and terrestrial aerial are standard although other entertainment systems are available.

Can be walkthrough or off-set from a corridor.

Shower is typically 800mm but can be 900mm quadrant. Depending on the layout, the shower could be rectangular. Shower board is available in a wide range of finishes and patterns.

Wash basin, inset or on a vanity unit. Choice of basin is wide.

Toilet systems can include the popular fixed porcelain with cassette, eco-friendly composting, pump-out with waste holding tank and enquires for gas incinerating are increasing.
